Na-Tae' Thompson - Graduate of Morgan Park

Na-Tae' Thompson executive director and co-founder of True Star Magazine oversees the organization's operations. A graduate of Columbia College's Arts and Youth Community Development Master's program, Thompson utilizes her corporate knowledge and natural ability to effectively create niche programming and events. Her creative planning makes her a much sought consultant in programming and special events designed for the 12 to 21 age group.
Thompson has previously worked for Vibe Magazine, House of Blues Chicago, GMR Marketing, Chancellor Marketing Group and Universal MazJac Enterprises. Her diverse client list ranged from Miller Lite to Roc-a-Fella Records, to Chicago's Power 92 radio station and Luster Hair Products. Her successes for these entities included developing sponsorship proposals, conducting research and analysis as well as organizing events.
Additionally, Thompson has worked with RUN Entertainment to coordinate the Tate Bros Foundation's celebrity fundraisers for Sickle Cell. Her passion for showing young adults their potential and opportunities in life prove her to be a patient but strong-minded counselor for any teen in need.. With efforts highly recognized and appreciated by many. Well-known celebrities such as Kanye West have commented "The responsibility that Na-Tae' has taken on is very honorable and should be duplicated throughout the world."
Thompson holds a bachelor's in marketing also from Columbia College Chicago.
